Lovely location, very peaceful, friendly staff, food is lovely, evening food and breakfast, rooms are really nice, big and comfy beds, nice bathroom facilities.

£19 for a burger, although it was nice

Excellent quality of dinner and breakfast food. Very quick service. Ideal location for exploring eastern LD . Impressed that this remote inn is in a bus route.

If we stayed again we would request a larger room with a better view. Room 11 overlooks the side road and a scrap van The bar area can get very nousy, but that is due to its popularity.
