Good location and very good food, home cooked.

Little tired in places

Location in town centre was very convenient. Room was comfortable and car parking a definite bonus. We enjoyed the breakfasts.

There was nothing negative or unexpected. Because the Kilverts Inn is a pub rather than a straightforward small hotel, it was slightly on the noisy side but very convenient and good value for money.

Close to everything and free parking

The staff were friendly and the situation in the town is excellent.

The breakfast (not included in the room cost) is a bit pricey for what you get. Overall the place seems dated and 'tired'. Quite noisy in thr evening

Well located, unpretentious hotel, very clean, lovely characterful room.

You asked, what did I like: I liked getting up in the morning to get out of the mist ridiculously uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. And when I mentioned it to the manager, she said that last week’s visitors complained too. But she didn’t understand because it was a brand new mattress!! And I am Twiggy!!!!

The totally uncomfortable mattress. Black plastic bags to cover up windows above my bedroom door. Scuff marks on the paint work everywhere. Latch on the door that needed your hip to bump it open. No ‘welcome’ area or reception. No manual of instruction/information. No town guide or information. No help with luggage to room.

Staff work very hard, the owners are very friendly people? They are working so very hard to make a go of it, can’t understand why people complain when they food doesn’t come straight away, you cannot rush good food

The staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. So helpful, too.

Perhaps a lot of stairs but it's a very small moan.
