very friendly staff. they are in the process of some renovations and a new roof so there were a few issues with the heating

The staff, food, and location were all lovely. The rooms were cute and the parking space available in the back was game changer for this small town that’s limited on parking

Central, quaint, good breakfast and evening meal.

Lots of building work so dusty, no heating so a bit disappointed

This is a quirky hotel in a great location with friendly staff.

Sadly they are currently going through extensive building work and the place is less than great at the moment. The smell of damp in the corridors and stairs was overpowering. The small room really needed updating, tiles were falling off the shower etc. Sorry.

It is a lovely building, the room was clean and full of character! The staff are lovely, and the bar is warm and welcoming

The location is good - right in the town centre.

The overall cleanliness is terrible. From the initial 'reception area' (which is a dark room that looks like it has been robbed - there is mess everywhere). On getting to the room we were greeted with a stale stench. Quickly realised that the windows had not been opened in a long time as there were 20-30 large flies gathered around the windows trying to get out. The TV doesn't work - no reception. There is no wifi unless you sit downstairs at the bar. The pills and bedding had no undercover so previous guests' hair etc were visible through the end of the pillow cover. I'm certain that one of the beds had already been slept in as the sheets were crumpled and stretched. Th toilet flush doesn't work properly, the bathroom mirror is missing/smashed. The slider rails by the window are absolutely filthy - never been cleaned. Oh, and there's large covering of old dust and grime on top of the TV.
