Sheila is an excellent owner of property who makes you feel special. I chose The Kilverts Inn without having any clue and it turned to one week of peaceful get away from stressful city life.

I don't have any complaints.

the hotel is located very centrally in Hay on Wye which was nice. The beds were comfortable and it's very quiet so you can get a good night sleep.

The hotel is going through renovation which affects the overall look and feel, windows are dusty and there is a building site feel. The room was dirty and in state of disrepair with broken floor boards and electricity not working. Breakfast choice was poor, coffee was cold and cooked breakfast was served without toast.

Nothing.

The car park was like a builders yard, with a skip and building materials strew everywhere. The reception area an untidy mess. The bedroom was in need of a complete overhaul, the bed was an ancient relic with a layer of dust on the brass headboard. The bathroom was very small with wall tiles missing. The price of £138 per night is simply shocking, needless to say we did not stayin the hotel and left as soon as we saw the room.

£173 for 1 night very expensive. Broken loo seat and a dribbly shower. Would expect more for the price.
