Breakfast was ok.hosts nice.early check in

Mattress was thin and very uncomfortable did not sleep at all.very tiny room.curtains need to be darker to keep out light.rust in bathroom.

The hotel was in a lovely location and it was nice and clean, but most of all the family that ran it are really friendly and they make you feel welcome would stay there again. Brain's breakfast are really nice ,it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

"Mostly enjoyable."

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The position of the Hotel is great for local amenities. Plenty of toilet roll was provided and soap for washing hands. There was tea and coffee provided. The Hotel provided me with dairy free milk and butter upon request, which was great for breakfast but non in the room. However, I'm sure that if I asked them to provide this in the room they would have. There was an evening bar within the property which was open from 7pm until 11pm every night, which also had a pool table.

The cleanliness of the room could have been better and the signal for the TV was shocking, very sketchy. There weren't enough plug sockets to use 2 appliances at once and the shower glass curtain rail was broken, meaning that you had to be careful when using the shower. Bath towels were not supplied, only a hand towel and a bath mat. The beds were hard and the pillows were flat, meaning that I didn't sleep very well, but this could be just my preference.

"Rooms for improvement "

Hotel was on seafront and did have free parking so that aspect was good. Room very basic, small double and decent bunk bed. Bed had no undersheet so just fitted sheet on the mattress so not very comfortable. Lots of holes on the walls where curtains had been removed and other things. Small en-suite and the toilet seat came off and chef fixed it still in chef kit! Breakfast was ok, choice of cereal, fruit juices and some smal danishes. Full English breakfast. However, it was very cheap so get what you pay for. Sort out bedding, standard of room, repair when dressed for it and would stay again,
