Room for second not not cleaned or had fresh towels restocked.asked maids to refresh rhe room, they refused.

The location

TOOOOO much deferred maintenance. Wall paper peeling, holes in carpet, unsealed seams in the bathroom around the tub and wall. Rusty and dirty light fixtures in the bathroom. Microwave not plugged in. All furniture is very distressed.

Great place. A little outdated but the room was great. Would definitely stay here again if it is convenient for me to do so. And just a 7min walk to the beach.

Bathroom door didnt close for privacy. Small refrigerator was rusted on the bottom and the fireplace did not work at all. Bed was mediocre.

Quiet, comfy

I have stayed here before and was satisfied, but not this time. My room was in really rough shape and fireplace didn't work. The guy at the front counter always has an attitude when checking in, both times.

Big bedroom and living room tub was great the jets were perfect. Small patio with chairs was nice and deer frequent the yard area. Bed was comfy and 10 min walk to Asilomar beach. Low car traffic and almost secluded area

Booked a room last minute for reasonable price. Ideally located next to Asilomar and a short, pleasant walk to the Fishwife. Make sure to check in by 8:00 pm, we almost missed it. We would have enjoyed spending more time relaxing in and around the room, but we were helping to chaperone and drive a large group of high school kids who camped at Veteran's Park. I recommend this place if the price is right, and if you want to walk directly to beach or go bike riding. Aside from the Fishwife, it's a short jaunt to Pacific Grove downtown or to other chill restaurants/Safeway just up the hill by David and Highway 68.
