We loved everything about the maypole the bedroom was beautiful especially the view out of the cute little window on to the padock and hillside it truly was the prettiest place we have stayed in the UK the bar the dining room the breakfast was delicious everything was perfect including the village of long Preston and very dog friendly ❤️

No Internet in bedroom at all

We had a Deluxe room for 4 adults. Perfect location for our three peaks challenge stay. A breakfast and dinner were very good with few vegetarian options. Paula and Leslie made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. There was nothing too much for them. Even when we queried if we could have a sandwiches for our walk since not stopping for a breakfast due to leaving early in the morning. Answer was yes and in our pleasant surprise, we had 4 x pack lunch, more than what we had expected. Both, Paula & Leslie were very friendly, caring and funny, in a nice way. Thank you both.

Mattresses could do replacing but not a show stopper.

"Charming “dales” pub, in great location. Great beer and food."

Location was fantastic. As was the beer and food. Very comfortable with lots of “dales” charm.

Can be noisy due to busy road. Was a hot weekend so needed windows open.
