We liked everything about this wonderful place. Alex and Stacey we just lovely, breakfast was superb, room super clean. And the dogs......well, what can I say, loved them.

We were a little late arriving, but were met by Alex & his enthusiasm was very welcoming. He made us feel at home quite quickly, though after a long journey we wanted to rest up. The house is Victorian, big & with rooms to match. Everything in our room was clean, fresh & vibrant with a walk-in wet room...

Je kunt de avond van tevoren aangeven wat je wensen zijn voor het ontbijt. Je kunt het dus net zo uitgebreid maken als je zelf wil tot het volledige full English breakfast.

Ik dacht dat bij een 'bed and breakfast' het ontbijt altijd automatisch inbegrepen is, maar dat is dus niet zo. Ik moet de kleine lettertjes beter lezen op de booking.com site. Maar eigenlijk vind ik dat een accommodatie zich niet een 'bed and breakfast' zou moeten noemen als je apart voor het ontbijt betaalt. Onze hosts Alex en Stacey waren wel supervriendelijk en zorgden voor een persoonlijk onthaal. Ze vertelden ons ook dat de Heathcliff een locatie waar vrienden woonden van Agatha Christie en wij waren juist naar Torquay gekomen om het huis van Agatha Christie te bezoeken. Heel leuke toevalligheid.

Highly recommend!! The owners Alex and Stacey will really look after you! They are very friendly and welcoming. The place was clean, beds were comfortable and shower was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. Location close to everything. It was perfect! FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nothing wrong at all!

On arrival we were greeted by Alex,he was very polite and made us feel very welcome straight away. The room was very clean and tidy and the lay out was nice. There was plenty of space to park.

We can honestly say that there was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

Such a warm welcome from Alex and Stacey upon arrival which set the tone for our stay. A very friendly couple who did everything to ensure we had all we needed, including lots of really helpful advice about the local area. The lemon shortbread made by Stacey and left in reception for guests to help themselves was a lovely touch. I think we managed to leave some for others! 😊 Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We would most definitely consider visiting again.

Bed mattress was a little uncomfortable, but that's is only a comment, slept very well
