Heathcliff House B&B Exclusively for Adults Free large carpark

The property is well maintained, comfortable with clean rooms and very comfortable beds. It is well positioned for public transport both by bus and rail. It has a well stocked bar lounge which is served by the host Alex and his wife Stacey. The breakfast is more than adequate and is well cooked and delicious.

The staff at heathcliff house were absolutely pleasant with us, also the room was easy to access as we where on ground floor right next to the entrance and last the breakfast alex and stacey cooked was delicious 😋

The only thing i didnt like the bathroom was a bit small but other than that everything else was great for the price.

Alex and Stacey are lovely hosts that are willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The room was super clean, the shower was nice and bed was comfortable. Alex brought some fresh milk for us to have some tea after we arrived from our long trip. Breakfast is sourced from local butchers, strongly recommend!

Alex and Stacey really were the hosts with the most. Nothing was too much, from carrying our luggage to our rooms, real milk in thermal flasks, to homemade cookies left for guests. The bedrooms were wonderfully comfortable and the mattresses, awesome. The breakfast was exceptional, very well cooked and the best bacon I have ever tasted. If I’m ever in Torquay again, I will most definitely stay here. I should give a bad review so keep this jem a secret but I just couldn’t do that to Alex and Stacey.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were staying somewhere we’d remember! Hospitality on tap! Alex and Stacey do everything to see to it that you enjoy your stay! The place, although large, manages to maintain a homely feeling. Our room was huge, with a fantastic view over Torquay. The shower was great, great pressure and constant heat, which has often been an issue elsewhere. Breakfast was delicious, cooked how you want it. There’s also cereals, fruit and yoghurt available (I over-indulged every day). I also liked the link to Agatha Christie - a novelty I know - but one that led me to buy the ‘Murder at the Vicarage’ book, inspired by the property. Usual things, room was clean, bed was comfy, bathroom had everything we needed, hairdryer for her, decent sized tv for me, fantastic hosts - and adults only! Book this place, you won’t be disappointed…

Host are amazing super friendly brilliant breakfast

Alex and Stacey were wonderful hosts. They were informative and knowledgeable about the area and beyond. The property was clean and well located. Good value for the money. Many Thanks to Heathcliff Hotel for all their efforts.

Location, historic building, parking included, very clean, modern room, availability, owners very accommodating, breakfast was available.

Only issue , Paid a bit extra for the bigger room but the Bed was a bit lumpy and creaky. Felt the springs through the sheets.
