There was nothing to dislike

Warmly greeted on arrival, with a huge welcoming smile. Felt at home immediately. Superb location, great facilities, superb brekky. Josie and I are now (whether she knows it or not) BFF's (we think this means Best friends forever but can't rule out it meaning Beef Tomatoes For Fun). The outdoor area is gorgeous and inviting if you get the chance to sit out on a dry day (unfortunately, my friend and I were there during some rather energetic winds, so we admired from afar!)

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely stay in a well maintained traditional B&B with ample parking and great breakfast. Quiet location a short walk from the promenade and and town centre.

I requested early check-in on the day, due to event I atteneded meant I would have been back late and they accomodated my request. My room was a single room and was very comfortable. I would recommend Edendale House to friends and family.

The breakfast was delicious and made to order. The property itself was of a very high standard throughout and we had a great nights sleep in a comfortable bed. The host took time to highlight all aspects of the accommodation and recommend some nice restaurants within the town.

We visited Liverpool on one of the most expensive weeks of the year (due to Liverpool FC's parade and the May Bank Holiday music festivals), so chose to stay in Stockport, a few miles up the coast from Liverpool, where accommodation is far better value for money, and it's quieter. If you don't want to drive into Liverpool city centre, there's a very regular railway service (every 15 minutes) between the two towns, and parking at Stockport station is only £3.95 for 24 hours when using the NCP app. Josie offers a welcoming, pleasant, comfortable house with lovely rooms, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice. Add a quiet location, onsite parking, WiFi and a friendly, knowledgeable hostess and you have a truly winning combination. We would certainly return to Edendale House if visiting Liverpool again.
