Edendale House

Helpful, understanding staff/owners, Josie and Ian. Lots of patience, offers of a cup of tea when we first arrived. the breakfast was exceptional. Beans came in a little bowl and were boiling hot and the amount of choice for breakfast was fantastic. Nice big rooms with cornice and lovely en suite. Hooks were provided on the towel rail. large cupboard in en suite. Wooden normal hangers that take skirts pants tops and the whole hanger can be taken out of wardrobe to use also loads of hangers Loads of drawers and a big wardrobe with gowns to borrow Big comfy king size mattress with all the mattress and pillow protectors. 2 comfy seats near window over looking front area of greenery 1 occasional table file of various useful stuff Magazine loan from reception - just make sure you put it back plenty of car parking and private too Honesty box for milk fresh from fridge Night light on shave light Useful hooks on towel rail Come in any time just don’t wake the owners Lovely garden to sit in Hair dryer provided Stool provided near to a mirror for doing hair Tea making facilities with loads of choice and on a higher shelf for safety precautions. Usual cotton buds cleanser shampoo and conditioner in cupboard for you to use

I loved the concertina shaving mirror but when I turned it around to use the enlarged image it kept spinning back to the normal one. We didn't like the fact that a lot of people were not aware you existed. The two taxi drivers from Alpha taxi's had not heard of you, and at our venue there were a lot of people who now live in Southport, and they were unaware you existed too. maybe time to upgrade the advertising.

Lovely people, very welcoming. Took extra time to make me feel better when I was feeling a bit unwell. Nice room in quiet location, but still handy for everything. Would and will recommend.

first impression was fabulous - spacious parking - location excellent in a quiet area of Southport. Host was very helpful & charming. House was Very clean & tidy with everything we needed. We got the first floor bedroom with a bay window. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Host phoned the nearest pub to check availability of food as we were rather late arriving - a gesture that was very welcomed.

Friendly communication from the host before and during my stay and free off road parking. There was a warm welcome on arrival and super service. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and hospitality was excellent. Other guests at breakfast were very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. I would highly recommend Edendale as the perfect location for easy access to Southport Town Centre with a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely b+b plenty of parking .10 min walk into town .we had bedroom 6 nice room if your not good at climbing stairs I'd suggest a lower floor as 3 flights of stairs to go up ..breakfast was plentiful nice and hot,host very nice as well

Josie was kind, warm and hospitable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s a comfy clean space and really feels like home from home. If I come back to southport, I know where I’m staying!
