This hotel was extremely clean felt covid safe. Owner Helen was lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was included and was really good. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting York.

very nice guest house with very friendly feel, traditional guest house exactly what you should expect in a city such as york, with very friendly staff helen was very nice and e-mailed us to keep us informed about our trip and the breakfast was very good with a nice selection of starters and main breakfasts. great location and helen was their to meet us on arival and was very professional.

Very easy to find and only a 15 minute walk from the train station. Very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The room had everything we required and was very comfortable and clean. All covid compliant. We were given a time slot for breakfast and a form to fill in to choose the night before with lots of choices and was well presented and delicious. If we visit York again i would definitely stay at the Farthings again and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Well thought-out COVID protection precautions. Comfortable room with small but perfectly functional shower and toilet. Friendly owner and good breakfast.
