The Farthings Guest House

I really enjoyed my stay, the room was clean, the breakfast choice was excellent, the price for York was reasonable, and the staff were friendly, couldn't fault anything.

Lovely victorian property, room small but well decorated and had all necessary facilities. Nice extra touches, mini cookies, make up remover etc.

So enjoyed our stay that we’ve decided to revisit. Helen , and her mum were great hosts

My goddaughter and I had an amazing stay. It definitely added to our lovely trip to York. The hotel is quirky, clean, comfy beds, friendly hosts. The breakfast was delicious. We loved the dog Jasper as well😁 We would definitely recommend 👍

Self entry to Farthings was provided by the guest house and very simple to let myself in. The service was very warm and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and well presented. Would return just for that. Unfortunately room 9 where I stayed, had a very musty smell like old socks. Was also right next to the bathroom, which had incredibly squeaky floor boards - not so great at the end of the evening. Other than that, I would recommend.
