Great location, very clean, on-site parking. The biggest mention should go to the hosts, who were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to look after us.

The owners were very friendly and knowledgable about the local area. Ideal location for walking in to Ambleside and visiting other areas of the Lake District. Comfortable, clean and a great breakfast to start the day. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful B&B in a great location half way between the town and the lake. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed for my 2 night stay. everything was clean and fully functional and they’d obviously considered previous guests’ feedback on all the little things like plenty of hooks on doors, shower shelf etc. The breakfast is great and you can choose what you want the night before. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Great room with well equipped en-suite. The Full English breakfast was top drawer! We stayed in the Africa Room which is on the road side but beautiful view.

We had a wonderful stay. The couple who run it were incredibly lovely and attentive, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless, cozy, and full of character. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!
