The best thing about this place is the staff, always friendly and helpful. Location is great too and the boat ride was quicker than expected.

I usually don't even write reviews, but since we paid quite a bit of money for our honeymoon, I thought I would list some of the key problems with this resort: You will need to wait a while at the airport, as they try to get as many guests as possible together from the various flights, but boat ride was fairly quick (30min). However, the checkin procedure is far from quick. Everyone sits in the lobby while your passports are being copied, for some reason this process to near to an hour. The food is mediocre at best, lots of the same things and almost no variation. You also get the impression when booking that there are various restaurants, however when you arrive and you have a beach villa and not a Ocean villa, you are told that you cannot use one of the restaurants (apart from 1 night if your stay is over 4 nights). Place needs a refurb seems very tired, especially poor area. Not enough sunbeds (especially near the Beach grill) these are also mostly broken. They let in people with day tickets, this means on two of the days we were there a big group of Danish teenagers that arrived and caused quite a bit of disruption due to heavy drinking, shouting, mess etc. Knowning that people are paying near to or over 10k for this place, its unacceptable. Also some other odd things: we paid the taxes for the resort uppon arrival, we then got into our villa and we were exhausted especially my wife who was 6 months pregant at the time. After finally falling asleep we were then woken up by a phone call at 10pm telling us to come and pay our bill (which I had just paid). Then asleep again, to be awoken by a knock on the door at 10:45PM with a cake saying 'happy honeymoon'. A sweet gesture, but not great timing... Also be aware that it is quite a lot of walking, as you only get the clubcart service when you have the ocean villa, so depending on which villa you have its usually about 1KM (return) walk to get food or the pool. I would add more info but this is the limit.

The resort is very nice, it has beautiful villas, many fields where interested ones can play football, cricket, tennis, etc, nice restaurants with fresh, varied and very tasty food. The staff is very friendly and careful to any need someone may have. Apart from the positive aspects already mentioned, we faced a critical situation with our 1-year baby, that got very sick (he was already sick when we arrived at resort), but his state degraded even more during the stay, and we got all the support from the resort staff: the doctor came at 5 in the morning to see the baby, gave him some medicine, then we decided to go in Male and hospitalize the baby, and the resort provided us a boat, sent the doctor with us to help at the hospital, gave us another person from the staff to take care of us, to book required taxies, to ask the doctors about the health state of the baby, support with the hospitalization papers, etc, all those free of any cost! We were really impressed and highly appreciated their kindness!

It was amazing, the arranged everything i wanted perfectly and I can't say a one bad thing abkuy this resort.
