Amazing hotel and staff, great food both in restaurant and bar. Room and rest of hotel spotlessly clean.

My partner and I recently spent two nights at the White Horse Inn and would definitely recommend this wonderful spot. The rooms were very comfortable with a classic country, cosy feel, and ours had a lovely view overlooking the nearby stream. We ate at the hotel restaurant both nights of our stay (opting for the quiet snug room at the back of the restaurant area) and were very impressed with the quality of the food. Overall, the breakfast and dinner options were fantastic and offered a good selection for most guests. Our only issue was the lack of vegetarian options on the menu. The one vegetarian main was a chilli which was unfortunately incredibly spicy and would be too hot for many diners. The staff were wonderful! Welcoming, friendly and attentive to guests' needs. We'll definitely be returning!

It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel for three days. From the start when booking in the receptionist was so welcoming as was any member of staff that I had contact with. The room I stayed in was spotless and well equipped. I only ate breakfast at the hotel . The menu was varied and food presented well. I should mentioned that the staff again were welcoming and very helpful I would recommend this hotel 100%

Although managed a parking space it was limited and very tight. Carpets in communal areas in need of replacing. Although bathroom clean in need of a shower replacement. Staff were pleasant. Hotel seemed Covid secure and food ok.

Really enjoyed our stay. All staff very friendly and helpful food really excellent. This is a great area to explore and Exford is an ideal central place to stay. On the downside we thought our room was a bit ordinary for the money and parts of the bar and restaurant were dull.

Lovely room, great food and friendly helpful staff. Felt safe with the precautions put in place de to COVID-19. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Great stay catching up with friends staying locally

The hotel was as expected, the room clean and quiet and the staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order and the bar meals were very good. However, the bed had an extremely firm mattress which was very uncomfortable and so my partner did not sleep at all well and had terrible back ache.
