Exmoor White Horse Inn

Absolutely amazing, could not have made us more welcome. We are puppy walking a police dog & nothing was too much trouble. Everything was excellent, room, bar, food & decor Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Inn. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and really enjoyed our meals. We decided to eat in the bar the next evening and again the food was excellent. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The important thing for us when we go away is to feel welcome and relaxed and we definitely felt both at The Exmoor White Horse Inn. We Wholeheartedly recommend staying here and we hope to return again very soon.

My Fiance and I really enjoyed the stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely. There was an issue with the toilet not flushing on arrival, but staff sorted this out straight away. We had evening meal in the bar we enjoyed mingling with the locals, but there was the option to use the restaurant if you wanted a quieter meal. The food was decent, high quality pub grub. The breakfast was self service with plenty of choice. Situated in the middle of Exmoor, with stunning views, and good base for getting out in the wilds!

Overall it was a very nice place to stay, the food was good & plentiful & all the staff were very helpful & friendly. However it was let down by the condition of a corner of the bathroom ceiling which together with noise if running water for a long period of time made me worry that water was coming through the ceiling,at a time that I was ready for bed. On getting no reply from ringing reception for ages I was forced to go out to the main building in my pjs to get help! A girl came over to look & reported to the owner who eventually came over to reassure me that it was ok & would be sorted the next day. This was not the case & was like it when I left yesterday.

A traditional well managed friendly country inn with good accommodation and serving good wholesome food, and all in a beautiful countryside setting. Top marks.
