Bampton Townhouse

Lovely building in the centre of Bampton. Great shared facilities, including lounge, kitchen, washing machine and drier. Easy parking out front or nearby.

Our room (Quail) was tiny, with a king bed against the wall that can only be accessed from one side. (Nice big bathroom, though.). Contactless check-in is fine, but some of the comms about access codes etc. were a contradictory.

A very well-equipped property, done up to a very high standard in a picturesque Devon village with parking close by.

We were unable to access our room on arrival or contact any staff throughout our stay. Ping-back emails saying no longer the contact, alternatives either failed to deliver the message or were unanswered. Similar to the telephone numbers we had. We were only able to access the lockbox after speaking to other guests and using a process of elimination to get in! I would rather not have had to write this review BUT have been unable to contact anyone who runs the property!

It was beautiful & incredibly clean. The place is done to a very high standard. Stunning!

The village was very quiet.

This is a lovely period property in the heart of Bampton village The rooms are well appointed and you have full acces to a large, well equipped kitchen, living room and dinning room. It would be marvellous for a large get together of family and friends

No parking at the property but a car park 2 mins walk away

The property was well appointed, decorated and furnished. It was beautifully clean. Downstairs is a beautiful living space. The en suite bathroom was of high spec.

The room was described on booking as a king room. The reality was there was room for a double bed and one bedside cabinet. We were only there overnight but even so struggled not to trip over our one small travel case.

Lovely building and kitchen facilities great. I slept in Quail so very quiet.

I could not get hold of anybody. Had tried all week via 3 emails and two voicemails to say I was needing to cancel my booking for 8th due to family circumstances but got no reply back. Liked the come and go self service but very frustrating not to get hold of anyone regarding my booking

Beautifully decorated, clean, modern. Just ideal. Perfect place for a group of friends to self cater. Not far from the station. Will definitely try to go again.

Beautiful venue, beautiful rooms. Loved the decor

The walls were a bit thin, which meant we could hear all movements from other guests going up ans down the stairs and the hallway.
