Central Phoenix Hotel

The TV didn’t work with the remote had to go get the staff to turn it on. The drawer in the night stand had ashes in it wasn’t cleaned. The restroom is not very clean around the toilet and the bottom of the sink.

The area was a good location to where we needed to be.

Clean quiet room. Clean linens, good air conditioning. Great staff! Bathroom had mold on ceiling of shower. Check out was weird, signs directed guests to leave key in a box on the counter that was basically open to anyone who walks in off the street. I did have a great night's sleep and the location was perfect for my visit.

Neighborhood is a little rough but no worse than most downtown areas. Parking was good. Rooms are very basic. Old but mostly clean. Staff is friendly.

The hotel is in central Phoenix, really downtown Phoenix just off the I-10 freeway. I could hear persons upstairs. During the night there was more movement than during the day. The front desk clerk had a parakeet on her shoulder, but it avoided me. The shower was very decent, but the toilet had a constant hum to it or hissing sound, something was loose in the tank. There was some paint or some sort of design on the glass light fixtures. It made the bathroom dark and of course, there was the light switch connected to the loud exhaust fan in the bathroom!! On the first bed there were visible dark stains on the blanket. The beds were hard. I could feel the springs. So, for two nights, at $140.00, it was not too bad. I do recommend white paint to make the room look more appealing.

I liked that is what near the building I needed to go to.

I booked same day due to a snaffu with another property. cannot recommend enough. Very clean quiet and awesome. The staff was also super friendly and accomodating. Would book again.
