Hampton Inn White House

Let me just start by saying they claimed to be going through *RENOVATIONS* to the ENTIRE hotel. It was to all be finished by January 31st, mind you I called BEFORE making this reservation and was told everything was being redone. Location- it is located in the middle of everything. You do not hear interstate or road traffic. Which I think is perfect! Atmosphere- When you walk in, you are greeted by the front desk, the ones we encountered with during our stay were great, except ONE night time lady. Rooms- Now here comes one that upset me the most. We booked the 2qn Wetbar Suite, the rooms are HUGE and has so much space, which is what we LOVED about the room. The beds that were supposedly replaced, they were okay. Let's talk about the PLUGS, none of them worked hardly, if it did you had to HOLD your chargers in there. My husband and I sleep with sleep machines, it was awful to even get them to stay plugged in. When you plugged something into it the plugs fell right back out, so obviously there was no remodeling there. Indoor Pool- One of the reasons we booked here, which was HUGE MISTAKE. The indoor pool says it's heated, it was LUKE WARM. Inside the pool room was so COLD, you couldn't even enjoy it. Overall, for the value of this, I do feel like it was NOT worth what we paid. Mind you, we travel quite often. Yes, I tried asking for a refund/some type of compensation BUT the night lady was not very helpful and I left my information. We shall see if anything is done or if this is taken care of.

Every staff member was welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and roomy and breakfast was good. If I'm ever in the area I would stay there again.

I think they could have offered a little more variety.

The bathtub was dirty. I went and bought a tub mat. The room was either warm and humid or cold and damp. The pool was down the whole weekend. Very disappointed.

Although it wasn’t new, it felt new!
