Uig Hotel

Nice small hotel, no complaints on the hotel itself but a bit expensive at 300 pounds for a 3 star but Skye is what it is, very popular and very few accommodation available.

Beautiful location! The single rooms are really tiny - about the size of a single college dorm room. Single bed, with very little room around it. Biggest problem - there is no elevator, so you have to haul your luggage up the stairs to the 2nd or 3rd floor. Helped one set of women with their luggage. When I offered to the same for another, she wisely determined that, at age 67, I might keel over and decided to struggle though herself! Excellent food at the hotel. Any other restaurants are a fair drive away.

Lovely stay at Uig with great views. Right on the main road with nice, clean, updated rooms. Plenty of parking although hills and stairs are likely depending on your room. The restaurant was great and it was nice that our included breakfast was there with options. Be sure to book your reservations in advance if possible. Staff was very nice and friendly and overall a great experience!

Very super the water supply are very well, I can take a very nice shower when I stay. The breakfast with various choose and delicious, well done.

Well staffed and attentive. Menu reflecting local produce eg venison and sea trout. Breakfast had full menu and generous. 'Outside lodges' clean warm and looking out over Uig bay...beautiful. Thought price was a little elevated but am guessing its a captive audience. You get what you pay for. No negatives at all
