Uig Hotel

Ideal location. Good views. Clean accommodation.

We booked a Seaview room which had a lovely view. I think for older folk, dealing with the stairs and luggage would be an issue. They ask you to book times for dinner, but seem a bit inflexible if you come a little early even though the restaurant was not full both times we arrived, they were happy to seat us and for us to order a drink. Uig is a picturesque town, there is a local store, post office nearby and in the main town, a petrol station and brewery.

It is a comfortable hotel with a friendly staff. Dinner was gteat!

Nice clean hotel with great view of the ocean. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and was good. A typical Scottish breakfast was offered. Great location for visiting the surrounding area.

This was an affordable option in a touristy area. The hotel is old, but the rooms have been renovated with new carpets and bathrooms. The single room was small, but I had room to open my large suitcase on the floor when I moved the chair. I had a very nice seaside view from my window. The breakfast was fantastic. I added breakfast to my booking, and they had great menu options. One morning I had the full Scottish breakfast, and the next day I had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I had supper there both nights, and the meals were good. The dining room and breakfast area both gave seaside views. I would definitely go back to the Uig Hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Uig Inn. The staff was wonderful and we had one of the most memorable dinners of our whole trip! The food was exquisite!

Absolutely loved our stay here while on Skye. Charming hotel in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a jumping off point while exploring the isle.
