Well located for King Alfred Way (although big climb back to route 😉) Nice friendly bar with good beers and wholesome food

The room was poorly furnished- no wardrobe or chest of drawers and no mini fridge

The place was very clean, quiet- food was great, staff were friendly. Big TV in the room, and comfy bed.

The room was separate to the main building, so, it was quieter.

All was fine. Everything was described accurately beforehand and therefore as expected.

Bringing bike into the rooms was great

Very friendly staff. Great beers. Lovely pub food and great breakfast. We were cycling and they allowed us to take our bikes into the rooms for security and to unload our kit. Ground floor rooms made access very easy.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, beds comfortable, Netflix and good shower. Co-op nearly opposite and a fabulous cafe just round the corner open until late for games nights - great coffee and fresh local farm milk/homemade cake.

The rooms run along the side of the pub's gravel car park. There were cars coming and going until the pub closed passing within a couple of feet of the front of the room, stones crunching. The roman blinds at the front were broken and also weren't tight fitting so we were disturbed by the sensor lights going on and off and people talking outside and in the smoking area. We couldn't get to sleep until after the pub closed/everyone left and our irritation wore off.... When I arrived the beds weren't made up as requested but the guy said this was an issue with booking.com, the price was also wrong and had to be corrected, I felt sorry for him. All in all, for over twice the cost of a premier inn family room I definitely wouldn't recommend.
