Mount Pleasant Hotel

Breakfast was excellent & dining area was comfortable. We stayed in Room 4 which was a large bright room with a lovely view however there is no air con just a fan. We were extremely hot all night plus the duvet on the bed was a heavy winter tog. The shower was over the bath but not very good & the toilet did not flush well. We have stayed there previously & would stay again but hopefully they’ll sort the plumbing out.

The room was too hot & the bathroom called be improved.

Easy to find location, plenty of parking if needed.

Lack of hot water in the bathroom. Both for the shower or the sink. The room was right over the beer garden so this could have been quite unpleasant on a weekend. Reception closes at 6pm until 10am the next day, and lacks information on what to do in an emergency.

Brilliant location for popping out to shops walks etc. Reception staff very nice most waitress service excellent. First morning breakfast super and evening g meal value for money

Roomss very tired now same room as last year peeling wallpaper on ceiling window frame black mould around edges glass dirty . Faded headboard bathroom just ok . Little choice second day the breakfast low choice of everything and evening meal poor choice to busy so service poor.

Excellent location for hills walks and prxomity to towns bars, cafes and restaurents. Room was basic but clean and functional. Conveneint parking excellent breakfast

Shower was a bit fidly and the head was scaled up.
