Receptionist is knowledgeable and friendly. Staff in the pub restaurant were also nice peopl.

Lots of stairs in the property. Parking very tight.

The bedroom and the bathroom facilities. There was virtually no space for both of us to be moving around the bedroom at the same time. The bathroom facilities were very basic. There was no view from the bedroom which was at the back of the hotel above the kitchen which was not very pleasant. It was a very expensive stay considering that the facilities were very basic. The breakfast was disappointing as many of the items on the menu were not available.

The hotel is in a lovely location and the staff are friendly and most accommodating.

The room was lovely but over the entrance to the hotel so other guests were constantly banging the door, not the hotels fault but it kept us awake most nights. Also the price we paid was double what we paid last year which I do think is a little excessive, I think there should be a deal or discount for staying 3 nights or more.
