"Overall a "pleasant" stay at Mount Pleasant Hotel."

Charming old building, full of character. Very centrally located, across the road from the old Priory church. The room was comfortable and had (almost*) everything we needed, with an extremely comfortable bed. There was a problem with the shower, and the bath was dangerously slippery, but we were given a mat for the bath when we asked for one (*should already have been available in the room), and the shower was repaired while we were having dinner. Restaurant staff were friendly and very helpful, food was good. Overall a "pleasant" stay at Mount Pleasant Hotel.

A walk-in shower would have been preferable for us, but we were in a family room so understand why there was a bath with a shower over.

"Perfect location"

Perfect location and staff are lovely and helpful. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Shower room needs a refurb and a bit shabby No way of turning the heating off and was too hot in a small room. After hours no way to obtain top up tea and coffee

Staff were superb, helpful and friendly. Room was very good, breakfast was excellent, evening meal was average and the food was a bit chilly.
