"A lovely, welcoming inn on the edge of Dartmoor"

Good Sunday roast, good selection of drinks, excellent Full English Breakfast, friendly staff, and a spacious, comfortable room. Very convenient location in the centre of town and less than ten minutes walk from the Dartmoor Way trail.

"Excellent"

The Pack Horse was perfectly located for a wedding I was attending and some general sightseeing in the 5 hours I had free. Lovely people and sweet village. Currently under new management with lots of positive improvements planned. Looking forward to staying here again when I am back visiting South Devon. Abbey & Nick are such lovely people. Food was great and they were always available and accommodating.

"Poor payment system"

The stay was ok, the payment system is a joke... Hotel.com taking payment 2 days early when it clearly states payment on arrival. Had to double pay and now having to claim money back off hotel.com. I won't be using this site again

A traditional British pub with rooms. Very clean, large room, great shower, a hearty English breakfast, and very friendly staff. A great location for Dartmoor and/or the coast.
