Hotel Arco Iris

We stayed in three different hotels in Costa Rica for this week-long trip and this was by far the best. Though the rooms were a bit more expensive than the others, this was justified by the amenities. Rooms were nice, water was hot. And the breakfast, which is included, was a full made-to-order breakfast that would make any restaurant proud. Juan Carlos made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend.

The Arco Iris is a charming hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast included was cooked to order and always delicious. The fresh juice and coffee were great. The pool and surrounding lounging area was very quiet and comfortable. In all, this hotel is a wonderful place to stay and a good value while visiting Tamarindo.

This place is a hidden gem. Stay here!!

Very nice hotel, central but far enough from the bars and clubs, which ensures a very quiet environment, especially at night, which is great. One minor recommendation would be to reinforce the fumigation. In my bungalow, there were quite a few small ants (mainly in the bathroom, but I found a couple in the bed) and a few “zompopas”.

Lovely spot to stay near town, but quiet. Staff and food was excellent. Nothing super fancy, but nothing wrong either. Would recommend.

This is a cute boutique hotel conveniently located near the action in the center of Tamarindo. Easy walk to all the restaurants and of course the beach. What really stood out was how wonderful all of the staff were. We felt like we were staying with friends. Maybe it helped that we were practicing our Spanish with everyone...but the staff all spoke Engish as well. So, I think they are just nice people. They have both bungalow and hotel rooms...we had a bungalow and we really liked it. It was clean and comfortable.

The beds are comfortable, the breakfasts are fantastic, all the staff are friendly and approachable. I have to give special recognition for excellent service to Henry at the front desk and Freddy at the breakfast service!

Quiet easy walking distance to everything. Nice looking.

We loved our stay ! The property is small and very peaceful, tucked into the jungle a bit away from the downtown - but still only a short walk to the beach. We loved the pool and daily breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
