Hotel Arco Iris

Solo female traveller review. Everything was wonderful. The staff is awesome and took care of everything I needed. Juan Carlo and Steve always went above and beyond. Great little cabannas with comfy bed and pillows, great air con and a nice large shower. Lovely grounds and a nice pool with plenty of places to lounge and relax. Proximity to shops, restaurants and the beach was great!! I really enjoyed the rest and relaxation I came for and will definitely stay here again!!!

Quiet off the main road cute little hotel. Excellent service. Great breakfast each morning where the staff remembered your drink preferences. The rooms were nice and clean. We stayed 6 nights. The owner was on site and was very nice and friendly. We had eaten at a local restaurant and had a lot of leftovers for the next day. The owner let us use the plates and silverware used for breakfast and warmed up the food for us in their microwave. Over and above great service. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

My stay here was amazing - I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Tamarindo! As a solo traveller I felt safe and the hotel is in a great location. 5 minutes walk to the main street and to the beach, yet a bit removed so it is quiet in the evenings so you can rest. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. They helped me book all my excursions and transfers for a seamless experience. The accommodations and facilities are clean and well maintained, and the free coffee/tea/filtered water station are a nice touch. Their breakfast was also so delicious and a really relaxing way to start the day - definitely add it on!

First time to Costa Rica and Arco Iris really went above and beyond to help me with shuttles to and from the airport and helping me navigate where to go! Breakfast in the morning was a 10/10, if you like pancakes I highly suggest them!! Steven is such a wonderful person and I looked forward to seeing him in the morning, always happy and singing and never let my orange juice glass go empty … the orange juice is incredible!!! I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay! I travelled alone and felt completely safe. 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants are super close!

This is such a gorgeous boutique hotel with excellent customer service. It’s conveniently located with about a 6 minute walk to the beach and main strip. Juan Carlos is very friendly and definitely helpful. Going during rainy season was really great too because it was never crowded anywhere we went.

I celebrated my birthday at this property. It was very nice. Juan Carlos, Henry, Antonella, the security guard and the rest of the staff were all great. Everyone was professional & courteous. The bungalow was very cute and private. I would stay here again if I visit Tamarindo.

My husband and I have been here twice because it’s such a great place to stay! It’s cute, has a great pool and is in a great location! No complaints from us!

This was an absolute fantastic little Boutique hotel. If you didn't know where it was you'd miss it but it would be sad if you did. I had to transfer two dogs down to Costa Rica and my niece and I stayed for two nights at this little Boutique hotel. The communication from the hotel prior to our arrival was absolutely amazing. Henry at the front desk spoke very good English and helped with anything that we needed to know. They had arranged to shuttle to pick us up at the airport and take us back to the airport. It's not your Marriott or anything huge like that it's a little Boutique Hotel situated in a good area. It's walking distance to shops and the beach and nightlife. I would go back and stay there again the rooms were clean the beds were comfortable. The coffee pot in the main area was always on. The breakfast was handmade and very delicious. Tamarindo is a beautiful place I've been to the Dominican Republic 16 times but I was so impressed on how clean Costa Rica was the sides of the road were littered with garbage the people were very nice and we were very happy to be received so greatly.
