Days Inn by Wyndham Turlock

Breakfast has never been significant or something to brag about but for this visit all they offered was cereal, toast and apples. I expected the instant oatmeal I have had previously. Not this time. OK, no waffles or eggs, but come on, why no add hot water oatmeal?

Convenient, right off the freeway. In expensive.

Very nice young lady who checked me in. I was provided a room that was already occupied (awkward). The room I did finally get was decent. A lot of flies in the room. Found multiple long, black hairs on bed line and towels.

Location near hospital.

Breakfast wasn’t much. Cold cereal, no milk in carafe, bread for toast and jam, coffee. There was a smell outside of the room that was horrible like sewer. There was a wet spot below the downspout and I believe it was from that.

Front desk service was very courteous. Because I was female and by myself, they put me on the bottom floor close to their office, which was fantastic because it made me feel very safe. But upstairs there was constant opening and closing of doors 10 minutes apart and the same car alarm kept going off every 20 minutes through the night, which made it very difficult to sleep, and I had to be up by 4 AM in the morning. I know this is something that the hotel management cannot monitor or do anything about but I just wanted to make it known. The hotel itself and a room are exceptionally clean and had everything that I needed provided in the room.: refrigerator, microwave, TV, hot water, coffee, maker, etc.

As I mentioned before, the property, parking area, hotel we’re better than I expected. The surrounding areas were questionable.

price was right and location off highway was ideal

locks didn't' work half of the time, had to have my keys reflashed, located right by a convenience store so there are the associated problems that come when you are located close to one. Breakfast was meh, booked through booking.com and prepaid AND got charged again so I paid for the lackluster room twice. Trying to get my money back is like pulling teeth, will not be staying at this hotel ever again and will probably not use Booking.com either.
