Days Inn by Wyndham Turlock

Good price and location.

Undergoing new ownership and under construction. Also front desk area was really cluttered looking.

Lady at the front desk wrote us down for 1 night when I paid for 2 through Expedia. Gave us a single night parking slip, double booked our room to a stranger with a key and the individual got into our room. The next day we went out for lunch and she also checked us out. I had to complain why my key wasn’t working and that’s when I found out. She tried making the excuse the system was slow, but at that point it’s straight negligence. I asked for a partial refund and they laughed. Do not recommend this hotel in the slightest.

Its was easy to find, clean with nearby shopping and restaurants

Location was a little uneasy feeling , dumpster in front of hotel was full of graffiti and a cannabis shop almost shared hotel parking. They gave us an unneed handicapped room but even then it was a tight squeeze around the room, if someone had a wheelchair or walker they would not be able to move around the room at all. The bodywash dispenser was empty and at the sink the handsoap dispenser was missing. When I spoke with the desk they said they would send someone over but never did. Also since it was a handicapped room we couldn't park in front of our room because of the two handicap parking spots. There fridge was clean but the small freezer area was full of frost. For a quick short, non-romatic stay it was okay. Our visit was only to avoid 2hr trip for a surgery early that next morning .
