The worst thing about the apartment was the smell that seemed to be like raw sewage and rubbish. The bad smell was mainly in the bedroom but could also be smelt in the rest of the apartment sometime. The apartment was very badly equipped - e.g. no floor mat for coming out the bath, very little toilet roll provided, no kitchen roll and only one bin bag. Also no fan provided at all! All equipment on balcony was rusty and dirty and not ready to use. The pull out bed was in a disgusting state - very dirty and looked like it had never been cleaned. The main bed was also dirty so we had to sleep on the floor. My daughter had an allergic reaction because of how unclean the apartment was and I had to use a nasal spray to help me to breathe properly. All kitchen accessories such as plates, cutlery etc needed to be washed before use. The dishwasher also leaked when used.

Key was left on door for us, as reception closed on a Sunday, but I didn’t know this as no note sent to me. It look me a few hours to realise this. The beds were not made either - we had to do this ourselves The blind to access balcony did not work

Les jardins de l'amirauté est très bien situé, à proximité du centre de la Chaume, et des Sables d'Olonne, un passeur d'eau est à disposition à tout moment, jusque 22h. L'appartement est spacieux, les matelas corrects, le coin cuisine avec taque de cuisson pour 4 feux, grand frigo pour le 6 personnes. Idéal pour 4 personnes et deux enfants. Le personnel est à l'écoute, et est très disponible et efficace. Je recommande.
