The home is ornate and very beautiful with a relaxing vibe.

They have boiler heat that we couldn’t control in our room and it was a cold night. The room was very cold so neither of us slept well.

"Back in time"

It was the most comfortable bed and breakfast place i have ever stayed in. The service was impeccable. They treated us as family. Laura Sue and Richard. Had lots of history to tell us about. If you want a conformable place to call home for a night or two and wonderful company and a yummy breakfast stay here

"Positive with concerns"

Laura Sue and Rick are truly passionate and love what they do. Their care of the mansion and food they serve is top notch! The "however" refers to your understanding that this is not the safest of neighborhoods, musty sheets and towels. When greeted Laura Sue "joked" about their neighborhood prostitute and the house next door with concerning tenants.

The outside of the house was pretty

The location is literally in a slum area. There were gang members hanging out right across the street. We are from NY and don't scare easily, but we were afraid to get out of the car and wound up leaving. We had booked last minute and the host would not entertain any type of refund even though the reservation held for only a few hours. They were extremely nasty on the phone and never bothered to answer my emails. Terrible experience.

"Mollie’s Tea at Schuster Mansion"

Our High Tea at Schuster Mansion was a delicious glimpse into the Victorian period. We tasted many teas and enjoyed savory and sweet foods. The mansion is a beautiful example of its era, and it’s lovingly cared for by the hosts, Laura Sue and Rick Mosier.
