The Lodge is lovely. Quite quirky. A very sympathetic farm building conversation that still retains a huge amount of rustic charm. No frills but very comfortable. It might have been snowing outside while we were there but we were warm enough. Breakfast was excellent.

The room we were in was cosy - only big enough for a double bed, and we had a clothes rail rather than a wardrobe. For the two nights we were there it didn't matter and the bed itself was very comfortable.

"Lovely hosts and unusual property but small room"

Our hosts were lovely, couldn’t fault them at all. Really friendly and hospitable.

No blind on the skylight meant sleep was disturbed. Couldn’t stand up straight in the bathroom.
