Bowlish House

Centrally located, big bed room with coffee machine and bathroom where everything worked well. Two reception rooms to relax in, plus a lovely view of the garden over a delicious breakfast of fruit, pastries & homemade sourdough toast. A very friendly host made it the perfect stay,

Bowlish House, is a beautiful location. House is stunning, clean, and the breakfast is amazing. Maryanne is the best host and i recommend the Bowlish House to anyone!. The parking included is so rare to find. I will be coming back!

A very attractive Grade II listed building with lots of character. Inside, it was also charmingly decorated. The host MaryAnn was extremely helpful and friendly and even gave us a hug when we left! You don’t get this kind of attention anywhere. The breakfast was also excellent.

Parking was a little restricted.

Full of charm

Lovely friendly host with good attention to detail. She had restaurant recommendations , gave us a welcome drink, and even offered to drop us off at a pub.

The only thing would be receiving an email prior to check-in just to reassure she would be there /the check in/access process.

We loved meeting the owner and hearing about the history of Bowlish House. Their passion for it is clear from the care with which it is furnished and styled, in keeping with the house’s age and history. It felt personal and homely and was filled with lovely touches that made us feel welcome & comfortable. Maryanne had thought of everything we might need and is an excellent, thoughtful and friendly host. We’ll be back!

Wonderful host, very pet friendly, lovely room and breakfsst in bed. Lovely one night stay.

The host was so welcoming and attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She advised us a great pub to eat locally and even booked our table for us. Bowlish House feels full of history and is styled with unique and charming decor touches. We all loved our stay
