Bowman Lodge

2nd visit to the Bowman, great location for visiting Chester, 20 minute walk into the City Centre. Rooms are very spacious with en-suite facilities, good supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The Oaklands (across the road) do a lovely breakfast. Mike, the owner is nice and friendly and there is street parking.

Location was great. Mike was very helpful and told us about different pubs and restaurants in the area.

A Hairdryer in the room would of been good.

Reasonably priced, good location and clean

The location is very convenient — only a 20-minute walk from the city center. The room and the house are lovely. There is a small fridge in the common area, and plates and cutlery are also provided.

I can’t say there was anything wrong. Just keep in mind that having several people stay in one room can sometimes be a little inconvenient.

Mike (Owner) was nice and friendly and offered info on the surrounding area and bus stop location for the Zoo. Room was tidy and comfy with coffee and tea available. Shower was nice and powerful. Very reasonably priced compared to the rest of the area lovely for a short stay with a very easy run to the Zoo or to the City Centre.
