The Reading Rooms

I am so glad we chose to stay in Haydon Bridge while cycling hadrian's wall route 72. The room was perfect with everything we needed. There is self-service breakfast, which was perfect and much appreciated. Brian was incredibly helpful and friendly. We had a fabulous meal at the General Havelock pub just down the street

The website doesn't do it justice. The facilities were excellent - I liked the flexibility in that you could help yourself to the breakfast foods and use the kitchen.

Brian was brilliant. He picked us up at Once Brewed as we were running behind and dropped us off back there in the morning. It made a huge difference to our trip and saved us about 5hrs of wasted walking. Can't thank him enough. The Reading Rooms was perfect for our needs, clean and tidy, hot water and a perfect breakfast before we set off again the following morning.

Warm, friendly welcome with lots of good info and tips. Good options for breakfast. Spacious, comfortable room. Excellent location, close to train station and local amenities.
