Amazing hotel for relaxing vacation

Stayed for 10-day honeymoon. Wonderful place! Great room, great beech, good food, really nice people. The location is absolutely beautiful, with a private beech that's to die for. If you're thinking of staying here, though, a few things to keep in mind: 1) it's far away from anything else on the island... get a rental car if you're going to do daily activities, and expect about a 45-minute to 1-hour trip each way to your activity of choice. 2) laundry service is a joke. 4 euro for EACH shirt you want washed, 1.50 for a pair of socks, etc. If you're staying a long time and want to do a full load of laundry halfway through, it'll cost you probably 100 euro. We bought some Tide from a local store and washed our laundry in the tub. Worked great! 3) for US travelers, things happen at later hours than you'll expect. Dinner doesn't start until 7:30, for example, where in the US I'd expect it to open probably at 5 or 5:30. The on-site gym also doesn't open until 8 AM. My wife likes to work out before breakfast, and this made that pretty difficult.

So much more value than a US resort/hotel where you get nickel and dimed for everything. You pay one price and everything you need is included. Not only that but food and drink prices are all very reasonable (again, not like US resort where you pay an arm and a leg for drink and a salad). they also had a complimentary bottl of wine and fruit selection wiating for you in the room.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Very quiet but that's what we wanted. Over an hour from the airport and not much around the hotel itself but they keep the costs reasonable for food and drink and the little supermarket is well stocked and again reasonable. If you have a baby, prepare for them to be adored by the staff!

Lovely hotel. Couldn't help but relax. Everything you need for the perfect chill out venue is here. Friendly and efficient staff, great food and reasonable bar prices even though 5 star rating and lack of local competition.

We had paid for 2 twin beds in a junior suite for my wife my son and I We got "upgraded" to a so called platinum suite which did have a great view of the sea and was a stones throw away but.......... the room not a suite had two single beds pushed together and one oversized bed/sofa. We had paid a premium for the suite and added a note on the booking at the time we required as advertised the two twin beds. I will be taking this matter further thus was not a cheap holiday the sofa bed not acceptable for a 6.1 Breakfast was excellent varied and decent quality. Hotel Restaurants were okay but would not advise the Asian, food not great and staff surly. Most staff were really fantastic though and the army of pool /garden staff were outstanding. Air con problem on one day it just was not up to the added heat 34 C. Overall good but not really 5 star It is remote but we were happy with that for 7 days relaxing.

We had a really great time. The staff were really quite amazing. Nikos in the restaurant and Anastasia & Nikos at the pool bar were extremely friendly and helpful. I don't think I've ever had such helpful service. The place itself is great, lots of space, nice pools, food was good and there is plenty of choice. If you are after a getway this is ideal, but be aware its at least an hour by car from the airport. One good and bad point about the WIFI - GOOD - It's available everywhere in the hotel BAD - It was a little sketchy in the room. Other than that no complaints at all, really great place.

really nice hotel, very clean they will do anything for you, only thing is if you have a headache there is no pharmacy there its 13 km away and they cant sell tablets etc. the kind lady at reception gave me something otherwise i would have had to sit there unhappy! watch out for the poolside service charge they dont tell you about, but otherwise a good hotel, the beach is at the bottom, sand very hot, go snorkelling and see the fish in the sea, my 5 yr old loved it. beds comfy, all friendly staff always say hello to you where ever you are. have to travel for nightlife and bars restaurants, quiet place though, relax, soak up the sun and enjoy having the pool to yourself most of the time.
