Mehari Hammamet Thalasso & SPA

Currently staying at this hotel. Rooms are old and dirty with no air con.. No lighting in corridors , no fire alarms in rooms or corridors even though a fully smoking hotel. The food selection is repetitive and limited selections, nothing catered for children at all, my ten year old is living on stale bread and ice cream. Food is cold and covered in flies. Very dated and needs a big refurb, Not a 5 star hotel.. A 2/3 star at a push Majority of the staff are friendly but some are not so friendly particularly the people in the restaurant areas. The Garden Pool is dirty and the water is murky, the bottom cannot be seen. Areas around the pool are dirty and glasses left in the areas. I would imagine this hotel would be amazing in it's day unfortunately needs a big overhaul.

Good hotel all staff friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble ..good food plenty of choice pool clean / entertainment good and varied lovely beach area and pool area rooms clean and tidy also cleaned daily and fresh towels 😊😊😊

I've had a good experience overall. The only things I would like on my next experience is better WIFI in my room. Breakfast should have Baked Beans, but food was good. Staff are amazing and very friendly. Will definitely come back.

I had a great time at Mehari hotel the staff was great and lovely people, I enjoyed the facilities and the entertainment in the hotel. I would love to visit again one day.

Hotel looked very nice. Very disappointed in room we changed 3 times. Poor food and staff not very helpful. Reception.Staff need to be more helpful. In a week’s stay we had no hot water 2 days. Entertainment staff very nice and friendly. We had a mix of singers, musicians.

We had a terrible experience which blighted our holiday. We started off in the Residence (no WiFi in the room, no air conditioning, nothing in the kitchen like pots and cutlery, the hose in the toilet leaked all the time). After 3 days of requests to move and also get things fixed in the room, and reception promising tomorrow repeatedly, we only ended up with a solution with the intervention of a travel rep in the building. We moved to the main hotel, and we had paid for this room, comfortable and clean with no issues. Seems the hotel rooms rather than residence rooms have their own WiFi points, carpets etc but again no air conditioning when heat at start of October is 28 daytime 20 nighttime. Cleaning staff helpful and friendly, as were the bar staff and restaurant waiters. Only gripe with restaurant was the drinks as you can't help yourself, you have to wait for a small glass. Facilities were clean and homely but be aware it is Tunisia so smoking is allowed inside in the bar and reception areas. Beach was adequate (all you need, loungers, parasols etc). It's not badly placed, 10 minutes walk to the local modern Medina next to Carthage Land. Be aware the local ATMs didn't take our cards so we had to go to the marina area where there was an international ATM. Taxis from airport about 120 dinar, but we used same to return and it was only 80 dinars (£20). Watch out for scammers, locals saying I am your chef who walk with you to their friends shop. And watch out for taxi drivers (no seat belts and they undertake etc to get you where you want as fast as possible).

I am currently staying here with my Aunty. We are so happy with all aspects of the hotel. The bar and restaurant staff are sooo nice. Our room is great, really spacious and very clean We always have something to eat. Entertainment staff are amazing so polite and caring.

I had an amazing stay at Mehari Hotel Hammamet! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming — you really feel at home. The rooms were spotless, the food was delicious with loads of variety, and the sea view from the balcony was beautiful. The entertainment team were absolutely brilliant — full of energy, fun, and always making sure everyone was having a great time, day and night. You can tell they really love what they do. Overall, Mehari Hammamet is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy yourself. Great service, great people, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again! ❤️

Very nice time in Tunosia and in hotel Mehari. Proffessional assostance animatorsnin hotel Mehari and good stretching . Comdotable room pool,delishes food and clear beach.

Really enjoyed our two weeks at this Hotel. The Staff were great from the Animation Team, especially Lawra and Pika, Pool Lifeguard/attendant who always called me "Boss" and would place our Sunbeds wherever we wanted even pointing out from our balcony from room 323! The waiter we had everyday was amazing, knew our favourite table and wine although always ready to dish out a different drink. Food was very good, sometimes we had to wait for the show cooked meat/fish but not a long queue. We had an excellent spacious room. The Hotel is well situated near the beach and close to the shops. We took a few trips Camel rides, private driver for the day to Tunis, Carrhage, and Sidi bou Said, we got the road Train for 20 dinar also the horse and cart around Yasmin 100dinar including tip. These were all booked through the reception area, the private drive was a Bargain, beware you do pay for the drivers lunch and drinks which was fair enough for the price! Only downside was being pestered by the local shop owners, go to the larger Supermarket with fixed prices if you don't want to get ripped off! The private beach and staff were excellent. We had the complementary 5course Dinner at the Baron de Chef which was really nice. So all in all we loved the Hotel, Resort, Staff, and Food. Thanks to all the Staff!
