Caledonia Guest House

Location: just few yards from the Hoe. Road quite quiet. Room was small, but actually bigger than photo and was compacted with closet and draw space for luggage and gear. Sink in room was convenient. Clean towels provided in abundance as with tea/coffee/milk replenished each day and bin emptied. Room and bed was comfortable. Bathroom on same landing. Shower good. WiFi very good.

Although visually the room and bathroom were generally clean at close up there was some grime, marks and staines etc around the walls, skirting boards, cupboards and windows which just needs a bit of attention and commitment using some sugar soap or something every so often. Had thick dust issue in one area that might have been overlooked rather than neglected. Window hatch handles a bit wonky. Rectify all these things and they'd have it all at A1. Many stairs to climb so you'd need to check this if you have a mobility issue.

Good location, not far from the Hoe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money.

Great location and very friendly owner. Room was very clean and facilities met our needs well.

Parking is tight.
