Breakfast was brilliant 😁

Location was perfect for a peaceful break. Louise the owner was very welcoming and informative and greeted us with a scrumptious cake on arrival . Nothing was too much trouble

I have stayed here a couple of times now and couldn’t fault anything. I will be returning soon 😀

The cottage had everything we would need and more. Angus and Louis gave us a lovely homemade cake and fresh eggs from their chickens when we arrived, which was such a nice touch. We were only a short drive away from Beamish ,which was the main reason for our visit, Metro and Durham. It is very central yet so quiet and peaceful. I would not hesitate to stay with them again. The morning we left, we had breakfast in the farmhouse, which was delicious and plenty of it. There is a supplement for this, and it is well worth it

Nothing negative

We appreciated the pre-arrival text to confirm our time of arrival. The room was excellent- lovely and clean- plenty of storage space- more than sufficient coffee and tea in the room- the bed was VERY comfortable. Breakfast was good and filling-- hosts were very friendly but not over-bearing. Close proximity to Beamish Museum and a very good Italian restaurant in the village. A very peaceful stay Thanks Louise and Angus

Good location.10 mins from beamish.clean,and a nice welcome with cake and eggs.well equipped.

We struggled to get the central heating to work.

Tranquil location with pleasant walks nearby. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of comfortable furniture. Our baby slept very well in the provided travel cot, and had a great time exploring the accomodation and seeing the animals in the farm.

The stairgate should be replaced.
