It was dirty and smelt the room was cold because the window didn’t shut very dated needs a good refurbish

Relatively close to the town, with a pleasant setting but doesn't quite justify standout praise. Service and overall experience are generally fine.

Poor value for money compared to other options in Kidderminster, especially given the already high room rates. The room amenities feel stingy, with basics missing like teaspoons, bottled water, and even a proper biscuit offering, while breakfast is charged extra on top.

Only positive was the polite cheeriness of the lady serving breakfast.

Room ok, however the bed was not comfortable, mattress needs replacing. Pillows are lumpy and one scatter pillow didn't zip up due to broken zip exposing the dirty inner cushion There was water in an opened glass bottle, so I wasn't drinking that, The kettle was filthy and the hairdryer was absolutely disgusting. I had to ask for the heating to be turned on and then it was off again in the morning . Breakfast was welcomed by a lovely cheery lady and her dog. However and although I dislike saying this , I was put off eating my breakfast due to the deep throat coughing a sneezing by the cook as well as the dog being in and out of the kitchen. Unfortunately I won't be staying again. .

Nice room, excellent food

Bad timing for us as there was a 40th birthday party on the Saturday night, we were allowed to join but it was rammed so we spent the evening in our room, another day would have been very different I'm sure

Very quiet location and ample parking. The staff were excellent and attentive. Lovely pub with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Very homely feel, with tasty homemade food (highly recommend).

Our only problem was that no food is served on Sunday evening due to the quiz night. But we ate locally and came back for the end of the quiz.
