Good location

Basic room, radiator was not working and room was very cold.

The decor of the bedroom is superb. It feels cosy, warm, welcoming and relaxing. The colours, materials, carpet, curtains, lights, bed, desk, chair, side tables , tv etc, everything is harmonious, well thought out and of good quality

The shower door could hardly close.

What didn't I like fabulous place

Some outside noise from people leaving the hotel bar but it went quiet in time for a good night's sleep

Nice pub with real character. Dinner was very good washed down with some good real ale

Breakfast was not available until 9 AM so no good for a business traveller that has to be in the office at 9

Friendly staff. Good sound proofing. Temperate with a good ability to retain heat. Enough space to move comfortably and store my belongings. Strong wifi, never had a problem with buffer or signal drop. Clean and comfortable with good proximity to a variety of shops as well as transport links.

The shower is difficult bordering on dangerous to open. No handle exists on the inside and water will flood the bathroom if not shut. I had to reach over the top and push the door open from the outside. I, thankfully, was able to but people shorter than me (at 5 foot 7) or unable to do that manoeuvre would be in trouble.

Staff very friendly and comfortable bed. Good full English breakfast.

Very noisy in room, noise coming from the bar downstairs.
