"Very enjoyable and comfortable"

The room was spotless and warm .The mattress was firm and comfortable the tv was a nice touch. I quit enjoyed the biscuits

"Wonderful location, gorgeous old building but in need of a makeover."

The breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of choice which made up for the tiredness of the rest of the hotel. The location is wonderful overlooking the River Waveney.

The rooms were a bit tired and could do with an update. Beautiful building though, so it's was disappointing when we entered our room and it was rather shabby for the price's being charged.

"Characterful hotel."

A lovely historic building in a beautiful location. My room had lots of character - wooden beams and a pitched ceiling. Very homely.

The bar lacks character and is not warm or cosy in winter. The stair carpet has seen better days.
