Really nice, comfortable hotel just up above the resort of Flaine which is easily reached by walking or by ski bus. Ski in/out is possible also. Only one thing let it down really and that was check in day which was chaos. The foyer was full of people waiting for rooms. We'd arrived about 11am and didnt expect the room to be ready then but for some reason it took until after 6pm for us to get our room. Dont really understand why as we were told on check out to strip the beds, hoover up, clean the kitchen. Caused us bother on the first day but other than that it was great and we'd return just a little wiser as to check in expectations!

We were very supprised to learn on arrival that we had booked a 5 star hotel.It lived up to it's rating.The room was very comfortable and clean.The staff were excellent,very polite and helpful.A lovely place to stay even if it is a fair drive up and down the mountain to the main road.

The appartments are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Way above average. We visted in summer and particularly enjoyed the spa and outdoor heated pool. The fitness room is rubbish. Restaurants in nearby resort centre are either very well hidden or non existent in late August. Some but not all appartments have great views towards mountains. Views from rear facing rooms are poor. Our stay got off to a terrible start as hotel staff wanted to put our family of 4 into just one double bed and a sofa, despite our reservation clearly stating 4 beds plus sofa. Staff made all manner of excuses and blatently lied about the availability of more appropriate rooms because we refused to give in to them and pay extra for THEIR mistake. It took well over an hour and several telephone calls until they eventually got the message!

Fantastic will go back, great location ski in /ski out and the outdoor pool is really lovely and warm, staff all very helpful .

The hotel is situated in a small skiing village, with what looks like a good sized ski area close by with door step skiing available. The village is at the end of long winding road, about an hour from Geneva Airport (Though found it a little difficult to find on my GPS). The facilities at the hotel are excellent with an Outdoor pool with limited Sun loungers. The accommodation is very new, we had a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen (not that we used it), 2 bathrooms - excellent quality. A number of bikers and hikers in the area this time of year, Food shopping and restuarants looked to be limited in the area - though we where only there for 1 night, so exploring was limited. If it's a quiet break you want, this would not be a bad choice at all. Booking via hotel.com wwas a huge saving and the staff were a little surprised at the rate, but honoured the amount wihout any issue.
