"An excellent stay in a beautiful building with perfect hosts."

Beautifully restored by the owners and in an ideal location for the town centre, beach, art gallery, tennis, theatre and restaurants. Chris and Caroline are perfect hosts, always smiling, friendly and helpful. My Superior Single room was very well appointed and breakfast was excellent.

I loved absolutely everything about the property and the way it is run, but at 86 ideally needed to be several years younger to cope with the outside flight of steps and two internal flights of stairs. Sadly, not for anyone with mobility issues. However, Chris carried my small case for me and it was good exercise!

The quality. Immaculately presented. Chris and Caroline were friendly and put you at ease. The food was excellent and locally sourced even the jams and some of the alcohol.

"Absolutely great for a weekend stay."

The location was absolutely amazing wow literally in the centre of town. The breakfast was ok the egg was poached and a little bit snotty and the tomatoes could have been cooked. However they were so accommodating for me as I am a coeliac so attentive and so kind I felt like a VIP.

The room was a little cold, not as in heat as it was very warm but as in almost a bit cold because the floor wasn't carpet so almost clinical like. The draw by the at TV just kept opening by itself. I kept banging my leg on the bed. Absolutely amazing for one night but any longer it would have felt like a hostal.
