The Furze Bush Inn

Stayed here on our motorbike tour and stayed on the hottest day of the year.The room was air conditioned and it was so cool,the bedroom ( double bed and single) was large,clean and tidy.The beds were extremely comfortable.Good quality towels were provided.Coffee/ tea was provided.We eat in the large and nice beer garden.A very good choice of food and beers.The staff were very helpful and friendly - with a particular shout-out to Emily who was very customer attentive.Plenty of parking.We didn't have breakfast only because we needed to get away early.We'd certainly stay here again when next in the area

Nick picking here- the toilet cistern was a slow filler and the shower control was a bit stiff to turn on .

Breakfast was delicious and the two evening meals that we had were excellent, Lasagne was perfect and the steak was the best we have had for a long time in a restaurant, cooked to perfection..Staff were very friendly ,polite and welcoming..Plenty of parking space and a lot of areas to eat/drink outside..Was quiet at night and had two great nights sleep..air-conditioning was a bonus and much appreciated as it was very warm.

On going into our room there were a couple of issues which were resolved..Bin in the bathroom hadnt been emptied and a used towel was still hung up in the bathroom As both myself and my Husband are short { 5ft 2ins for me) it was difficult to fully see in the bathroom mirror , the lights on that werent working but didnt inconvenience us

Breakfast was lovely. Evening food looked good but could have done with some lighter options as we didn't need main dinners.

Mattress very uncomfortable. Could do with abit of general updating.

In a lovely location with a beautiful garden, the restaurant and pub were well-maintained and provided excellent food.

Better than expected pub in a country village. The pub area, general atmosphere and the food were excellent. The rooms were well appointed and they went out of the way to make me a tray breakfast for an early departure, before breakfast time.
