Great location in the centre of York. A homely environment and had a great selection of breakfast options at a very good price. Rooms were a good size, quiet and private

There were a variety of fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals and other goodies available as self serve for breakfast in addition to cooked to order items. Staff were gracious and friendly. Location was a short walk from the train station and various sites in York.

I knew our room would be small when I booked it, but it seemed larger in the photo than it actually was. We are not large people, but it was difficult to maneuver around the bed. There was no place to put our bags other than on the floor. Doing so took up all the clearance between the bed and the walls. On the other hand, we had a direct exit to the outside from our room (which we liked a lot!) which led to a lovely garden from which we could either enter the building for breakfast from the rear or directly access the alleyway in the rear through a secure gate. We enjoyed that tremendously which more than compensated for the inconvenience of the small room.

Several blocks from the old part of York so I either had to use up time going back and forth or carry everything for the day in a backpack

We loved how quaint the place was. Everyone was very receptive to our questions and answered it right away! Property is situated walking by distance to town!

No es un hotel 4 estrellas. Es una casa de huéspedes con comodidades básicas. Está limpio. Ideal para estadías cortas y con poco equipaje. Cerca del centro y de las atracciones que hay que ver. Cerca de la estación de tren.

Al ser una casa de huéspedes había poco espacio. No hay ascensores, por lo que tuvimos que subir valijas grandes 2 pisos por escalera. Habitacion muy pequeña con poco espacio para moverse y poco lugar para dejar nuestras cosas. Baño limpio pero pequeño con mínimo lugar para guardar las cosas. Ducha ínfima. El desayuno era con horario y tuvimos que esperar media hora para que trajeran un omelette. Al retirar os no había personal que nos pidiera un taxi para ir a la estación que si bien estaba cerca era difícil movernos con nuestro equipaje. En booking figuraba como 4 estrellas pero dista de serlo.
