Overall, my stay at Protea Hotel by Marriott Walvis Bay Pelican Bay was pleasant. The staff were friendly and communicated well, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was also convenient, with restaurants nearby.

One area for improvement would be the breakfast buffet—while adequate, some dishes, particularly the mushrooms, could have been better prepared.

"Nice and clean Hotel, Good restaurants nearby. A bit far from Centre of the city."

The area was nice, very close to the Beach. Excellent Restaurants nearby, Hotel personal was very helpful. Internet is free and good spped.

Hotel is quite far from Centre of city and shopping areas. TV in the room shows only two channels. These where only advertises.

"A very nice place to stay in a beautiful spot."

Beautiful location on the lagoon. Handy too for boat trips. Comfy bed; very friendly staff; good wi-fi; nice food at breakfast and evening meal. Taxi service from airport (Bongani Shuttle) was excellent.

There was no running water at all in the room on the first evening. Didn't find out until I undressed and got in the shower after being out for a run. A notice in the lobby about this would have helped.

"Upgrade your rooms especially the bathroom cause it’s deceiving the outside looks perfect plus the reception but the roo"

It smells going to breakfast there’s a funny smell probably the carpets that are smelling plus in the rooms
