Protea Hotel by Marriott Walvis Bay Pelican Bay

Rude staff. Dirty. Broken doors. Rusty showers. Noisy. Terrible breakfast - nothing fresh.

The water pressure in the shower

Room 111. Mould and peeling paint in the bathroom. Rotting door frame. Litter outside the room and generally a filthy place

It was a standard hotel. Nothing bad about the property and had an amazing view with the palm trees. It’s also close to a lot of entertainment and restaurants

Could do with an upgrade. Tv was quite old, doors were hard to lock and shower is a bit outdated

The location of the property is not that bad even though there’s not much happening there

The property is old it needs a serious revamping,Hygiene is compromised, I didn’t like the room set up a door in between rooms no privacy, there were kids there making a lot of noise ,I am a fan of Protea hotels it was the first time I come across a dirty facility like that,the towels I couldn’t use them they are cream white ,house keeping needs training,they join two single beds but not aligned properly I did not sleep well at all.
